Left overs
I have a question...
As a beginner, I have bought threads that I wanted to quilt with and for one reason or another my machines didn't like them. I have in some cases almost entire spools of thread.
Have you tried different needles? I have found though trial and error that needle size and type can be important to a thread performance ... just a thought ... :) Pat
I have tried many things. The Beast (Janome 1600 P) really likes a 50 weight in the bobbin and anything heavier in the top. A 90 or 80 needle seems to be its favorite. One issue, oh, I have learned, was that I was using polyester thread. Icky!
